I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen a clutch arm extension like this and if so, what it was supposed to do? The only thing I can think of is that it would make the clutch easier to push down.
Here is a picture of the arm on our tractor:

Here is a picture of the arm on a Super W6 (I know they aren't identical, but they are supposed to be similar):

Thanks for the reply. I was also wondering, will that affect the free play of the clutch pedal? It seems to have a lot (about an inch) more free play at the platform than what my service manual recommends. The throw-out bearing is good and the clutch disc has been in a year. I adjusted it the first time with a gap gauge between the clutch fingers and throw out bearing. Should I continue doing this instead of using the pedal measurement?

I would gap measure it one more time then measure the freeplay and adjust to that from then on. It definitely changes the clutch action from stock, pushing all the way is necessary, and the point of engagement may be low.

I see them on Ebay from time to time. Most were made by M&W and I think they made the clutch easier to push.
