That doesn't look like the way Lulu Arfin' Nanny spelled it, but you get the idea.
Anyway, the easyout worked to get the pipe plug out of the oil pan. Not to say it was easy, but it's out.
Now I can save the oil pan gasket for when I really NEED to drop the pan.
Thanks for the advice, guys.

I honestly believe that is the very first time I have ever seen one of those easy outs actually accomplish anything other than making more work.

I"m with you on that one. I was given those style of easy-outs years ago for Christmas and they still wear their original wrapper! The "wedge type" easy-outs have done the workload for me over the years.

Wm...glad to see you got it done though. Once in a while a guy gets a break. Feels nice doesn"t it?
