Well I thought I was going to pull a FAST one this weekend. A Buddy and me went to look at and maybe buy a Super C Saturday. Well I thought I could buy it and hide it from the Wife for a few weeks until I figured out what to tell her. When I was dropping my Buddy off he said watch your wife will drive by and see you. Well she didn't drive by she followed me down the road and called me on the cell and said what is that on the trailer. It actually went pretty good! Shaggy

Say, Another Farmall C! Did you complete the white demo? You better be careful, or you will have a whole line of C's. Where did you find this sale?

So far she has been pretty cool over the whole deal but she said that I am grounded from taking the trailer anywhere that has to do with tractors for a while and if I do I am not to bring any home. I didn"t want to try the V day thing but I did think about it.

OK SHAGGY your neat wife is finally catching on to your tricks you just thought getting her pregnant and that fine baby boy she gave you she would forget your old tricks but i can tell you by now she knows when the trailer leaves the house that something will be coming home. When you get to be my age if you are lucky your wife will understand that we are nuts when it comes to tractors. Hope you didnt forget her on FEB14 a little goes a long way your buddy gene b

When you said busted did you mean --I can never keep a V day suprise present from you dear? I know a old guy that would keep his new purchases on the other farm for months or even a year before he brought it home. And always got away with "I have had it for along time! don't you remember? I was there once when he pulled it off. I had to stay behind the trailer as I felt uncomfortable just hearing it. Does your wife have a single twin sister? JUST ASKING! Dave NE IA

I am so lucky to have such a wonderful wife. She is the reason we have a Super C. The neighbor's wife was telling her how great and handy their little Super C was after her husband got one. She told me that since I had some room in my carriage house (tractor shed) I should get one with that fast hitch dohickie on the back and a grader blade to keep our road nice and smooth. Well the search was on and we found a very nice one which is going to get restored down the road. The fast hitch Super C's are about the most handy smaller tractor I have ever been around.

Yea I pulled a good one about a month ago. I went to an auction with my dad (not intending on buying anthing). I ended up buying a 400, she was so proud of my purchase that she was speechless for three days.

Been There also.
Couple of years back I got a differant combine and didn't say anything. My wife comes and rides and brings a snack after work sometimes.
Went from a 1440 to a 1660 they look about the same.
The first time she got in the combine she looks around a little and I'm thinking UhO.She says were going to tell me about this combine.
Busted.

I've adapted a different tactic.

I just say, "Dear, I'm going to buy such and such".

Then, before she has a chance to say anything, I shut the door, jump in the pickup and leave. She still doesn't know what the latest toy is used for. :>)

Alan, how do you keep small squard bales from falling through that thing? You must have to stack them cross-ways I guess. How many will it hold, 150 to 200?? Thanks, Cmore

Small square bales. What the heck is that? Just saying that phrase gives me a headache. :>)
