This W9 photo was taken a couple of years ago at the Last Volks Steam Show in St. Stephens, MN I do not know the person who made it (if you do let us know) It is a very fine example of serious.

JimN,

Nice replica. Do you remember if it is based on a modified A, B, C, or other tractor, or was everything made from scratch? Just curious.

I miss the point. What about the W9? Is it a scale or worker or what? Sorry if I miss the obvious. Dick Davis

With the best of my memory at work: The tractor is about 4' tall at the steering wheel. It has SP125 combine sized rear tires on it and 15" tall front tires. It has a tiny IH casting marked OHV 4cyl engine governor on right carb on left, like an A, but much smaller. I don't know the differential but the trans is integrated into the back of the engine/clutch. 4 speed +rev. It is just an extreem unit. Even the baffeled gas cap, and electrical box is scale. It was powering a 12" cylinder threshing machine that was as perfect as the tractor.
Just nice eye candy and great respect to the creator.
