I changed the oil and filter the other day in my 330U and also replaced the oil gauge. The gauge read minimum of 40 lb right after the oil change. Now it reads like 20lbs all the time.

I use straight 30w and a quart of lucas engine oil stabilizer. It reads 70lbs at 3/4 throttle and 55 - 60 hot low idle.

Changing oil and filter the process, and putting in fresh oil, the detergents, can break loos particles of carbon and other deposits. If these get into the system, they can unseat (hold open) the pressure relief in the pump, (or where ever it is located).
If the Run temp oil pressure is suddenly different, and very steady, I would suspect this to be a possible cause.
If it is just tapering to lower pressures over a weeks time I would worry about bearings.
After testing the gauge against a calibrated pressure gauge, and finding it to be good, I would pull the pan and check the pump and relief system.
My two cents.

Do you have another gauge that you could try ? Did the line get kinked somewhere ?

What wt engine oil are you using? The bearings may be getting worn. Close tolerances on mains, rods and cam bearings determine good oil pressure. I would keep a close watch on that pressure if you're using the tractor for heavy work. Hal

20 is rather low for any engine, but may be the oil is thinner and not building as much pressure, just a thought though i aint no expert
