I have a farmall H with a hydraulic pump from a 300 mounted in front of the dist. I am re-doing the hydraulic system. Dous anyone know about how much pressure this pump makes and can I use dexron/mercon ATF fluid instead of hydraulic oil since it is thinner?

Pressure should be in the 1250 to 1400 lb. range. The higher you go the more $$ you will give to Mother Case. Lifting power also depends on cylinder diameter. That oil is , well, OK, as long as you do not contaminate oil being used in a newer tractor. Once your system is free of dirt and water, etc. I recommend HY-TRAN oil. It is superior and worth the money....QR..

well, when my 300 had the loader on it, It could raise the back end clear off the ground with 3 wheel weights on each wheel and tires full of fluid, I'd say they operate around 2500 lbs. Far as the oil, I don't know.
