Carb issue?

Our W6 always used to start right up and run great. Since one day last fall, you need to work the choke in and out really fast for 3 to 4 seconds to get it to pop, and then it will wake up and run. It seems a little weak on power too. Does this sound like a carb problem? I noticed too that if you leave the gas on when it isn't running, it seeps a little out of the gasket between the top and bottom halves of the body, and also out of a little pinhole about where the arrow is shown in the picture below. The carb was rebuilt about 3 years ago by a dealer, and it has leaked from the pinhole since they rebuilt it. The gasket leak is new. Could this be my problem?

Should not be a pinhole; the casting has a flaw. Use some JB Weld or similar substance to repair the hole.
If the 2 halves were not re-surfaced when rebuilt, you may notice seepage. Try tightening the 4 screws.

Thumbanger: Putting kits in C-123 water pumps is one of the poorest paying jobs in the western hemisphere.

If you can figure any way take the kit back and trade your pump for a rebuilt

The current problem is getting the "correct" paint. Enviornmental regulations have resulted in formulation changes, meaning the current 2150 CaseIH sells is not the same color they sold 10 years ago. Same with PPG, I don't know about Dupont, etc. I use PPG and have had them change the toners used in the mixing process to get the color I "think" is correct. I'm not fully satisfied yet, but haven't painted for a couple of years -- will try again on my next tractor. The original colors no longer exist.
