I have a WD9 that I found and am thinking of working on it to get it running. It is missing the magneto. Are they hard to get?

Mag shouldn't be hard to find, there were lots and lots of those tractors built. Also keep in mind that the TD-9 Crawlers and UD-9 Power units used the same engine.

Like mentioned below, make sure ya get one off a deisel.

Keep in mind that the Mag's for diesels turn counter clockwise which means that a standard mag will not work on a diesel as they turn clockwise.
