Greetings!
I'm looking for some assistance determining the year and value of an International Harvester Industrial Model 2424 Serial #03023 with a 3-point and heavy duty loader. I'm guessing mid sixties but am not sure. Thanks in advance for your response and time!

Jaysen

I-424 and I-2424 did use the same serial number series. It is a 1965. Value depends on condition, location, and how much it is worth to you.

Last April my buddy bought a Industrial International Harvester tractor, model #2424 (1967). I don't know the serial number. It has 4 gears with high/low transmission and power steering and good brakes. It has 36 PTO horsepower, no rust holes or dents. This tractor starts well and runs well. The hydraulics work well and do not leak. It has a 3 pt. hitch with no draw bar. Rear tires are 13.6 x 28. One is very good, the other has about 50% tread left on it. Front tires are 7.50 x 16 and are well worn. It has a Kelly 600 heavy duty loader which is in excellent shape. The bucket is 64" wide and 24" deep. He paid $4400 for it.

The "2424" is an industrial version of the "424".

I have a 424 diesel.

I don't have a serial number list for the industrials, however, a "424" with that serial number would be a 1965.

I don't know if those serial numbers were concurrent, or if the industrials used a separate set of numbers.
