Once again I come to the Oracles of IHC to gain Knowledge of things unknown(at least to me!)I have a 240 utility w/a 3pt.Fast Hitch on it, and I"ve purchased a new Implement for it.(A post hole auger,)I"ve Discovered that the Lift Arms are bent in about 1 1/2" So nothing Fits...24 1/2" spacing....So the Question, are these Hitches cast or forged???I don"t want to heat this thing and have it shatter while bending it back into shape..any ideas??? Thanks.

You can purchase fast hitch to 3 point hitches, see the link for one source. If someone has already converted yours (improperly), you can also buy the lower plug in arms shaped to the correct 26" cat 1 width.

If the lift arms you speak of are on the tractor, there are cast parts in the system that are breakable. The 3point is not a fast hitch, that is a 2point. If it is a two point with 3pt conversion prongs in it then the hitch needs to be heated and bent outward to match a standard IH Fast Hitch spread so other FH implements will spear in correctly. Pictures would help if what we are saying is all wrong. JimN

Coax I've not seen any 2pt impliments that have cast arms.

You should be able to bend them back into place.

Put a jack between the arms and spread them.
