I bought an H decal set from my local IH/Case dealer. I have three decals left that I do not know where they go. Can anyone help me on this?

Left are:
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PULL WHEN DRAWBAR IS REMOVED ---

OPEN: and there is a arrow pointing to the right

BE CAREFULL DO NOT MAKE SHORT TURNS AT HIGH SPEEDS-----

Thanks
Carl from Michigan

I guess this is more of a question than an answer, but does the open decal go above the radiator shutter control knob?

Drawbar warning -- Rear of transmission/differential housing above pto shield, 1/2 inch below the bottom of the transmission cover.

Open -- I don't have this one on mine. Have seen pictures of it, don't remember where, thought it looked sort of weird, though.

Short turns -- Centered on top of gas tank 1/2 inch in front of gear shift pattern.

I am referring to Guy Fay's Letter Series Book. It does not list the H. The info I gave you is for the Super H, which after looking at my tractor, I believe Guy either made a mistake in his book, or the Super H is different from all other letter series -- no reason it should be. I had forgotten about that. I have the drawbar warning on the rear of the seat pan 1 inch below the lip. The PTO warning is on the back of the transmission housing where I said the drawbar warning should be in my initial response. I think when I put my decals on 2-3 years ago, I studied the book and decided where they should go -- there are some descrepancies. ON most letter/W series tractors they are placed as noted in this post, not as stated previously, sorry if it messed you up.

Thanks CNKS for your help

I did put the decal that refers to the draw bar on the back above the PTO shield but was able to remove it and put it on the seat.

Thanks again

Carl

The only excuse I have is CRS, or Old Timers desease. My post should have said just to the LEFT of the shutter crank. ken

The "OPEN" with a arrow goes just to the right of the shutter crank. Just sand blasted off what was left of a origional, yesterday. ken
