My dad has restored a 1955 International 300 Utility. His hydraulic reseviour is continually building pressure and sending oil out of the vent. He is having this problem and we are looking for an answer if someone has the info for us. Thanks, Mark Reynolds

Just like orchardeere said; Go with the easiest one first.Next: Water in system? Air in system? How's your strainer? maybe clogged or collapsed.Pain in the cooly to get out but still available from case/ih. Ouch! $75 last year it cost me.

Thanks for your info. I have not noticed any water in oil. Hopefully, level is correct and we are not keeping it too full. I will ask him to check the strainer.

First, Is the oil level to high? Is there any water in the oil (white creamy color oil)?
