I just bought a behrens power steering torque motor which I intend to use on my 300 row crop. I am told that I need some sort of proprity flow diverter valve. I think it is to assure that the steering gets all the oil it needs, and the rest goes to the other hydraulic components. The guy who sold me the motor says he has such a thing but it is a big job to install (I guess it goes along side of the regular hydraulic valves). He wants $50.00 for it. Is this a good deal? Any Alternatives? How do I get instructions as to how it is installed?
Tex

You need the steering motor, priority valve, third hydra-touch valve, U-shaped jumper line, shorter steering shaft and coupler, plus the hydraulic lines and tee for the return line to add factory power steering to the 300/350 and 400/450. Complete set ups usually bring around $450 on e-bay.
