I've noticed many old time photos of F-20's showing a pinstrip that follows the edge of the hood and radiatior. However I've seen many old time photo's without. Does anyone know if they came from the factory like that, was it just a few years or did the dealers dress up their tractors? Trying to figure out if I should add a pinstrip or not.

The archive photos show it on both gray and red tractors. In looking real close at all the photos I have seen, there are very few that don't have them. I just looked at an unrestored '32 F-20 that still had traces of the pinstripes on the radiator.

i have seen vintage pictures of both f-20's and f-30's with pinstriping and without. some late and some early. i don't think it was a dealer thing as the pictures with stripes are ih archive photos and ad photos.

I have a 1939 model that shows clearly the pinstripe. I don't remember ever seeing it on the older gray models.
