Bought a C tractor and want to take front wheels off to clean and paint. What's a good way to jack up the front end and where to do it?

You can take one off at a time, as stated. I prefer to have it all off at once. I think I turned the front wheels to have room for a bottle jack, then blocked under the clutch housing and removed the lower bolster. I also removed the steering gear housing and cleaned and painted it.

I will assume that you have a narrow front? If so, the safest way is to run one front wheel up onto a block, and then you can remove and paint the opposite wheel.
