...Twins (1939). See my website below for details and more photos. I figure I need to snatch as many of these up while one still can. They're getting harder and harder to find... It will be years before I finish them, though.

I love the 1939 model tractors. Have two and one day hope to have all the 39 rowcrops in my collection. Have a f-20 restored and restoring the M right now. Hope to look for an H or A or B or f-30 or F-14 next..... ...oh to have more time and money

Are those the original steering wheels? I recently purchased a 1938 F-14 and it had the same type of steering wheel which I thought looked more modern than 1938?

Hello I have a 1938 f-12. It is in good shape. Needs a tune up and rear tires. I can't find any 40 incher in my price range. I was told that the hubs off a H would fit. I find that the f-12 has a 2 5/8 axle and the H has a 2 1/2 axie. Got any ideal what I can put on the f -12 to get it mobil. I also live in MI. I'am in ST Johns. Bill

What"s to finish? They look great just like that! LOL!
I really do like just having old iron around like that, even if it doesn"t get finished right away.
I"ve got a T20 that looks about like those with a tight engine, but I actually paid around $1000 for it. Oops!

I recently purchased a T20 for $2000. And I drove it home. Of course, it needs some work.
Like most of you guys I like to have old iron a round work on. PurdueAg, congratulations on the find, you have other iron your working on or have restored?
I'm just about to start a new project,(kind of embarrassed to tell you guys about it) it belonged to my grandfather, and has been sitting out in the field for 25 years. It's an old John deere MC.

LOL. I heard of a guy that bought a magneto for an F-
series tractor for the soul purpose of making a piece of yard art (not running) complete. That's a dirty shame to waste a perfectly good magneto (that the rest of us could actually use) for yard art. He should have just carved one out of wood!!!

I agree! It seems like there are always fools out there with a lot of money that drive prices up for the rest of us.
Take farmland, for instance. Tomorrow there is an auction for 387 acres of mostly prime farm land in 8 parcels. I"ve got my letter of credit, but I am sure that those not making a living farming will run the price up beyond what you can afford to pay for farming land.
Yes, it"s a free country, but it"s also a short sighted and self centered country, too. Paul

I think the one on the right may have a leaky fuel tank.
