Can someone give me an idea of what an old International F12 is worth? It has been sitting outside for many years, very rusted, that is about all I know. Not much to go on, but I have no idea if this is worth picking up or not.

If all you have to do is just go "pick it up", in other words, it's free, by all means go grab it quick before it gets melted down for scrap!

If on the other hand, you are gonna pay for it and are trying to come up with a fair value to offer, the posts below will give ya something to go on. If the motor's stuck and it doesn't have any rare options, scrap value is a fair price...also...if the owner is just trying to clean their place up and wants it gone, you might offer a little less....it'll cost ya something to go get it and you're helping them out at the same time, so offering less than scrap value isn't out of line.

It might be worth a little more to some of us if it has a Waukesha engine that's not cracked. Is the engine overhead valve or flat head? The Waukesha engine is a flat head.

Well if you figure it weighs in around 3000lbs that puts it at about $150 for scrap iron, not saying you should scrap it. To many good parts to do that to it. A few years ago I got one and payed $300 for it then sold it for $400 so that should give you an idea of about what its worth.

Most likely there are still some useable parts on it, so it is not just junk. Probably worth about $100 to $150 scrap iron value, might be worth $200 to $300 as a parts donor.

Very common tractor.

Value varies by what part of the country you're in, but in general if it's not running, and doesn't have high interest options like electric start (VERY rare) or a road gear (also rare) or good fenders or some such, then it ain't worth a lot. $300 or so if it's complete. Maybe a tad more if it's on rubber and the tires hold air. Less if there are major parts missing or the block is badly cracked.
