Hey All,

I started in on fixin' the A/C on this old 1066.

I'm gonna need a compressor, clutch and coil. Somebody "pitched" it and replaced it with a swamp cooler.

Everything else seems to be in place on the old bird. I just want it "original".

Can someone give me kind of an idea what these items will cost? Probably just go to Car Quest for it.

Thanks,

Allan

Well I don't see them selling AC parts here yet and I'm not promoting for any one AC parts place but here are some I found by the guys on here helping me earlier in summer. You must have a better car quest than here as that's the last place I'd go for ag AC parts because some are just made different and those chain store boys don't know tractors.

Hey! Thanks Glen,

Looks like that outfit has it all clear down to the relays and switches.

I appreciate it,

Allan

I should have mentioned those compressor conversion kits they have seem high but are the cats meow and way to go on some with older style compressors if its one you are going to work hard. We put one of those kits on a JD in summer and working great.

Hey buddy, I could tell you about a site to go to that the moderator would be able to tell ya where to get those parts, but then I would have ta go stand in the corner with him and then folks would talk. Can't have that. All I can say is "Ask Cowman", hint hint. Later, and over there, Harley
