Where you at Tom?

Im 50 miles East of Dallas and yesterday it was in the 50's and got down last night to 22. Suppose to be back in the 60's by Sunday.

When we get a cold front and it gets down close to freezing its the major news story. If we ever get snow, even an inch, all the schools and everything close.

I need to talk to the city manager here in town. Last time I drove to town I got some dirt on my tires. Maybe they can sweep the streets before I take it out again. lol

Oooh! 27 degrees! That's swimsuit and sandals weather for us! Enjoy that warm weather while it lasts...it's been below 0 every morning for the last two weeks here!

Don't forget to use sun block!

Billy

Shoot that isn't cold. You should go say up to the artic circle and see what cold is. BTDT and I was in a sub at the time and we had frost on the inside of the sub because of how cold it was out side and we where under water to boot. But yep got down to 0 last night here. Last week before the snow/ice came in it had been in the 60 and 70s then in just a week we went down and had 3 inches of ice then 3 inches of sllet then 10 inches of snow on top of all that. High yesterday here was 18 and today they say it will be up to around 50

Old, I was with the Allied Command Europe Mobile Force serving with the Brits and was inside the Arctic Circle at Andselv (Near Bardufos), Norway from Dec to April for two years running! That was something else for this old Southern Indiana farm boy! Did our survival training down at Vos and then moved North. Lived in tents till the first of April--my wife said my blood got thinned while I was up there!! Actually got used to it believe it or not. Not sure I could do that now--was a whole lot younger then! Got to know the Boomers when I was at the Naval War College in Newport--you sub guys are a very unique and quite gutsy breed!! Steve

Tom, Think it got in or near the single digits here in Indiana. Like I used to tell my kids when they were in High School Science, theres no such thing as "cold", only a lesser amount of heat, look in the sky theres the sun but sure no ice cube lol. They still said it was colddddd d lol

Anywho yall best bring in your Brass Monkeys

John T--was talking to my Dad in Martinsville and guess it was 8 degrees out on Blue Bluff Road this morning! Used to hate going after the cows on mornings like that as the old wind came down the White River like it was from Norway! Not gonna say it was cold in Atlanta this morning but saw two hound dogs using jumper cables on a rabbit! Just rolled into Tennessee and it was 12 here at the home place this morning! A bit on the nippy side for this neck of the woods! But, remember the walk from Cary Hall to the Vet Medicine Building on those cold Purdue mornings--!! Hope all is well!1 Steve
