That is SOOO cool, I live in fostoria and work at whirpool as well!! What shift/dept? I'm currently laid of (took a voluntary), and worked 2nd shift endeavor.
I remember the thread, and they are right, a plugged screen would give the opposite effect. I currently have a 40 inch bucket, and need something to cover the width of my tires for plowing snow and grading, so 'd need one at least 68 inches. I'm assuming you live in the country since 4 miles is not quite into findlay.

JWALT, I WORK DAY SHIFT AS A MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR FOR ALL OF ASSEMBLY AND PLASTICS DEPT.
I LIVE ON CR 216. YOU PROBABLY GO TO WORK THAT WAY. MY BUDDY TORE HIS PUMP APART AND FOUND SOME BAD SEALS ("O" RINGS). HE RE-INSTALLED THE PUMP, HAD PROB"S GETTING IT STARTED. MESSED WITH TIMING. CLEANED THE GLASS BOWL. STARTER LOCKED UP, AND RAN THE BATTERY DOWN. SO HE WALKED AWAY FOR A WHILE TO COOL DOWN. I THINK THE SEALS MAY TAKE CARE OF HIS PROBLEM. IF NOT, I DO HAVE A PUMP I DON"T WANT TO GET RID OF....BUT I MAY MAKE HIM AN OFFER AS A LOANER W/CASH THAT I CAN BUY BACK IF MINE FAILS. LOOK ME UP WHEN YOU GET BACK TO WORK YOU LUCKY DOG,AND WE"LL TALK TRACTORS. STEVE SIMON EXT.6073

While I dont have a hydraulic pump for sale, I do have a 300u as well and live in northwest ohio. Whereabouts do yo live? Are yo sure its the pump. Could be a clogged screen, restriction in the line, etc...

ACTUALLY MY TRACTOR IS FINE. A CO-WORKER IS IN NEED. HE HAS 900 PSI WHEN THE OIL IS COLD AND 200 PSI WHEN THE OIL IS WARM. THE REPLIES I HAD EARLIER SUBSTANTIATE THE SUSPECTED PUMP FAILURE. A PLUGGED SCREEN WOULD GIVE THE OPPOSITE EFFECT WITH COLD AND WARM OIL.
I LIVE 4 MI. WEST OF ARCADIA AND WORK AT WHIRLPOOL. ARE YOU THE ONE LOOKING FOR A 5 FOOT BUCKET? I HAVE A 4FT X 2FT NOT ON MY TRACTOR I WILL SELL. BUT I DO NEED A FRONT BOLSTER
