My neighbor has a 686 that I help put on a rear blade before the snow flies. Is there any adjustments that can be made on the "float" lever?
Seems like it wants to be very hard or to soft, no in-between. When I pushed snow last year I was either digging into the gravel or not taking enough snow.

Randy

A three point has no down pressure. It is always on float.

As far as i know, there is no adj Randy. If there's no frost in the ground, you sure will tear up gravel, what might help is a set of those skid shoes they use on snowplows. Otherwise, you just gotta be slow & careful.
