will a 407 out of a 856 bolt to a 460? or how about a german diesel from a 756?

What would be cool is a 360 IH motor out of a 766.You use the motor plates from a 666 with the 312 motor.My 460 I went with the 301 out of a 715 combine.Iff you had the 560 you could use the 407.

I'm sure it could be done but the narrower frame rails on the 460 would have to be altered and I think the motor will be too long to have any clearance at the radiator. 301 is usually the biggest I've heard of that goes easy into the 460. Would wonder about the trans. and rear end with that much power coming into it. Might be OK. Migraine

Heck if ya want to ya could put a 1710 cummins in it but i do not think that that littel 10 inch clutch will hold it
