Well my 300u only achieved 1525$ on ebay. I was wanting to get my 1800 I got in it. Thats not counting the probably 200$ in maintenance things. I am really considering parting it out. lets see what we can get probably get...

I figure, even lowballing the parts I could get around 2000.

Problem is, is it worth the disassembly? I'm selling this thing because its too big, and I'll have a crapload of stuff left over that nobody wants, mainly casting.

I just dont know what to do...

I would wait if you could, like was already stated try ebay again, with your lowest price , maybe someone didnt look at it that week,, also I have noticed a BIG difference in the way people are buying, or actually not buying tractors this year,, also this was 4th of july week lots of vacationing,,,

you could part it, but as you already haver figured you are going to have a tone of parts, some will sell, but the big items you will probably end up with , all in all you will come out about even after all is said and done,, IF you dont count your time in it,,

good luck, I would relist it if you have the time and room to keep it a while, my 2 cents, pat

Jay, list it again on ebay but start it at the 1800 with no reserve. That will only cost you 6 or 7 dollars if it doesn't sell. I've had items bid higher the second time around, just depends on who's looking and when they are looking.

Thanks jim, does craigslist have a spot for northwest ohio?

I'll give it more time, I'll just re-arrange the garage a bit this weekend, supposed to be 95 or so, so I'll do that file it away up front and give myself room to get working on the john deere. Got some other things to part out (old asphalt control panel, about 10 h2 leak detector, etc). So that should make more room floorwise, and who the heck know what I'll decide to do.

I can only imagine how much more space it will take to part that thing out anyways...
I guess I'll start posting actual prices now. 1800 obo will work for me.

Put it on Craigs list
Put it in the local paper
Be patient. JimN
