A week or so ago I replaced the cap and plug wires on my 140. Before I did this the tractor idled smoothly, afterwords it runs kinda rough and it will barely run under load. The exhaust sound is alot louder now also. Maybe I need to clean and adjust my points? Also what are the correct spark plugs for a '58. Thanks Kyle

When you replced the cap did you take all the wires off and then put them back on or did you do it the right way and change one wire at a time??? If you took them all off then you have the firing order wrong and yep it will not run well if you did that. Common mistake made by a lot of people. Always when replaceing a cap take one wire at a time off never all of them
