I am sick of the pan type seat on my 460. Are there any other kind of seats that will fit on the deck? I like the square type seats like on the 06 series and up type tractors. Has anyone seen a 460 outfitted with a good seat?

I was going to say the same thing as IAGary They made a delux seat that was an option. I wonder if a 460 utility seat would work Mine has the seat with the back on it.

Yes you will have to build a mounting bracket. I put a Glide Ride on mine years ago.

third party image

IH had an optional "deluxe seat" for the 560/460.

There are a few of them around.

They fit on the same base as the pan seat.

We had one on our 460 till it burnt. Not a good picture of the seat but you get the idea.

It was stored in the same shed with hay at my brothers.

The hay musta been to wet when it was baled.
