I am trying to identify a Mccormick Deering tractor with no I.D. plate. We believe it to be about a 1929 15-30 but this is a guess.I have pics available. There is a date stamp on top of tran. case which is 8.25.29 There is date stamp on lh side of eng toward rear lower corner which is 9.18.29 On r.h. side of block at front top corner is a raised oblong casting with the no.12794 with possibly a 3 and 7 at the end.If anybody has knowledge of how to I.D. I sure need help. Thank You!!!!! !!!!!

Probably. Serial numbers for 1929 15-30 are 99926 - 128236

If it has a double compartment fuel tank (the front smaller tank was for water) and a water pump it is a 15-30. The 10-20 looks similar but has no water pump and in 1929 used a single fuel tank with a small round gasoline starting tank behind it. 1929 serial numbers for 10-20 are 119823-159110

Give me some part numbers from the main castings and I can tell you for sure.

Late 1929 22-36 barry. A good old tractor in my opinion.
