I want a red Cub. Do they have different size engines in any models? What's a F Cub? do they come with different Hydraulics? I want one that can handle a blade, mower and other implements.
What type of Cub should I be looking for? Thanks in advance.

You need to read this before you go look at a Cub, especially number 10:

Don't know what you are wanting to do besides mowing, but you need to be aware that the Cub is only a little more than 10 HP. So if you have much work to do, you may want to look at a Super A or a 140 (The 140 is the more modern version of the Super A). The Super A/140 have about twice the engine of the Cub and will do a lot more work. If you go with a Cub, when you find one, be sure you check it out throroughly, as the Cubs tend to frequently have broken castings, as they are not real heavy duty. Best to find someone familiar with them to give some advice and help you check it out.

All F Cubs(Farmall Cub) have the same C-60 flat head engine. Most have the same hydraulic system and some early ones don't have any. All red Cubs were made until 56 when the grill and part of the hood were painted white. A Cub with hydraulics will handle any implement made for them. Plow, disk, mower, cultivator, blade and so on.
