(about 10 miles) man it is a real nice tractor, has way more power then the farmall h my brother has. lol. ok now more about the tractor. as i said before its a 400 diesel. it has a schwarts wide front with new tie rods. it has a swinging drawbar. brand new rubber all the way around. i got it for 2200. do you guys think i did ok? i think i did. im gonna need some help when i start tinkering with it. i need to change the oil&filter and was thinking about changing fule filters while at it. i also have ot fix the left brake. also the guy took the part of the linkage out of the ta that is about four inches long so its alway in hi i guess. i have to put that back in and adjust the ta. and i have to adjust the throttle linkage because when i go to shut it off i wont shut off with the hand throtle u have to have on person ideling it down and one person pulling on linkage at pump. so any help would very very helpfull. i hope to have pics up sometime soon. thanks again. jonathan s in northeast pa :)

The price is right as long as your happy with it. But compared to the super MTA Diesel which can go for in upwards of 8,000 you got a great deal. I paid 2100 for a MD that needs a new gear in the front of the engine, it does got the m@w 9 speed in it. I think you got a good deal. Enjoy!!!

he said he used the ta but one day it made some noises so he unhooked it. he said that was the only time it ever did anything. i think it just needs to be adjusted becuase if the ta was shot it wouldnt just go in one day, i think it would go over time, like my incles smta did. but everytractor is different so im porrly gonna hook it back up and start tinkering with it after i change the oil.

The ta might just need adjustment.....but it is more than likley toast. It is somthing you can live without until you are ready to fix it. you might be able to get a TA for a good price as long as you dont need it right away, I think you got a good deal as long as the engine runs good and all the gears are good.
