I need to replace the manifold on my 140. Been avoiding it due to the condition of the mouting bolts. They are very pitted and rusted very badly. What would be the best way to try and remove them? Also what do I need to look out for in a replacement manifold?
Thanks,
Keith

You might look around fr a good used manifold. I understand the reproductions do not fit well.

They list a new manifold on this site for a 140.

When I replaced mine on the SA and asked this same question someone said (other than heating) to tap the end of the wrench with a hammer to loosen the nut. The sudden jolt breaks the nuts loose better than steady pressure.

I was sure afraid to replace my manifold for fear of breaking the bolts. Luckly the nuts came off rather easy.

If they have nuts on them, and are not bolts, I would heat each one to red, then use a cheap socket and screw them off. (a bucket to cool the socket will help) JimN
