Got a 400 with some type of hitch. not a standard quick hitch, doesn't look homemade. Looks like short 3 pt lift arms with a place for a cylinder on the right hand side and where the top of the cylinder would connect it is curved. The shaft that the short 3 pt like lift arms has splines that these attach to. Anyone know what this is or should I post some pics? Thanks - Lance

WOW!! Sorry to upset people in here. I've posted for years in here and this is the first time I have been treated like this. I offered pictures but I was unable to post at the time, since I HAD NOT TAKEN THEM YET! I thought by a description if it were a factory option that someone may be able to say, "Yep this is what it is!" I will post some pics when I can. Hopefully the pic quality is up to peoples standards so I don't get ripped on for that too! I hope that people remember that this place is for all of us to get help on our projects and not a place to rip on others. For the good answers I recieved I thank you.

Well, he did offer to post pictures... and from his description, I'd have to guess "bicycle" or "vacuum cleaner."

Post em if you got em. Why bother to ask? This isn't the third grade at your local elementary school or, for that matter, boot camp at Parris Island.

400 Fast Hitch has the aft vertical hydraulic cylinder in the rear and a horizontally mounted hydraulic cylinder on right side of tractor for depth control (raises and lowers front of fast hitch). Hitch can be pinned and front cylinder removed (on 4 row cultivator, this cylinder can be removed and installed on R/H front cultivator).
