My sons 656 is stuck in reverse. Put it in any other gear and it stalls. What can I do to get it out of reverse. I appreciate any and all answers. Thanks in advance, Boyd

Remove the cowel and you can see the shifter linkageand just line up the one that does not match the other two. Time for a rebild of the shifter as more then likely one side of the pin on the shifter is broken off or just plum wore out and the other parts have to much clearance between them . It is not real hard of a job to tighten them up after ya sorta study how everything works and a few shim washers and a new pin they are almost as good as new.
