I haven't been able to garden for the last few years, but I plan to give it a try next year. This ground has a lot of clay in it, and we are approximately 15 inches behind on rain for the last 2 years combined, so the ground is quite hard. There is about a 2 inch deep layer of rotted manure and hay spread on it, so I thought I would plow it before the fall rains set in. Normally the cub can plow this 6 inches deep in second gear with no trouble, but it was so hard that it was all I could handle in first running 6 to 7 inches deep. In hill country we normally plow our gardens one way, throwing the dirt up hill. It takes some extra driving, but reduces the amount of dirt that washes away.

Here is a link to the movie on Youtube

It is pretty grainy, but not having a way to save it in MPEg4 format I had to upload it as a WMV file, which becomes grainy when converted to YouTubes's format. If you want a larger , clearer movie go to the link below. One word of warning though, it is a 57 meg. file in .wmv (Windows Movie Player) format, not recommended for dialup.

I had that at Red Power roundup in Lebanon Tn. when it was there, and had to prove to some people there a cub would plow ground also.

What a great post. I loved it. Never dreamed a cub could or would do that.
