I need help with the estimated value of a BF Avery model A. I have tried posting on other boards and got no responses. The engine is stuck, tin is complete and straight, needs tires. It belongs to a friend without internet access. Tractor is located in the central valley of California. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Email is open if you want more details, Thanks, Pete

Pete, I'm no expert on these but a guy give me one about 25 years ago. It sat in his field until the muffler rusted off and the engine seized. I got it unstuck and used it about ten years bushoging and scrapeblading. My son ran it low on oil and spun a bearing so he got rid of it for me????? ?? Several years later i saw it for sale at a camper supply for $500. The owner said the engine had been repaired but needed a carb???. Last year one sold at auction North of me for $1000. It ran, had decent tires and a new paint job. I'm guessing $200 - $300 from your description. Hope this helps. David.

Thanks for your responses. The values sound like they are reasonable for a machine that will require some investment to make it run. Mike, the tractor is in Fresno. Thanks again fellers. Pete
