If a SMDTA is worth that kind of money what is a SW6D-Ta worth that runs and has near new rear rubber?

Aumann sold one thanksgiving weekend, at his annual consignment auction, looked to be a recent restore, beautiful tractor, I think sold in the 15-17,000 range, I think.

Over the summer a beat up SMDTA brought $7700 at auction in ND. Needed lots of work and barely ran.

Two were sold at an Aumann auction in PA last year. They were in their working clothes. The one with a fast hitch sold for $17,500. The other one sold next for around $12,000. Same condition but had a three point hitch.

On the other hand, about 30 SMTAs (and probably a few SMTADs) were sold at auction last year in the upper midwest by another auctioneer. I don't think anything brought more than $10,000. Some were cheap at around $3000. Perhaps someone else has a better recollection of that sale.

Aumann knows how to sell. He just sold a SMTADV for $75,000. That was the same tractor he sold at the same PA auction for $45,000.

I think you would be doing well if you could get it for less than $8000.

They are one of the rarest of Farmalls. Will bring big money. It is hard to say how much, but it will bring 15,000 or more in the right place. I saw one in Bardstown, KY bring 13,500 almost 15 years ago.
