Trying to remove the bearing cage for the bull shaft from the differential. This started because of an oil leak on the right brake drum and band. I could not get the seal out so I thought I would remove the plate that turns out to be a bearing carrier. In the process I broke the flange. Now I need parts and some help with getting this thing off the tractor.

You need to remove the bull gear first! And transmission top, and transmission oil, etc.

What kind and model are you working on,If it's an M or H you have to remove the bull gears to get the cage out.

You have to remove the trans/diff cover. The cage bolts on from the inside. The seal comes out with difficulty, but it was designed to be removed without removing the cage. You are not the first to break one. Mike at Steel Wheel Ranch should have a good one for not much money. 785-548-7437.
