I'm really going to make an effort to pick up a trailer plow this spring, and I need to know what will fit on my trailer. It's a single axle "7x14" landscape trailer.

If I remove the tongue of the plow, will I be able to get a 3-bottom on the trailer? Something like a #8 or preferably a #60.

You shouldn't have a problem at all. I put a 3-14 311 fast hitch plow in the bed of my extended cab, short box pickup one time. That plow looked alot smaller on the ground.

I brought a 3-16 JD trailer plow home in a 4x8 utility trailer behind a Buick Park Ave in a notable 30 mile trip best left to the imagination.
Can't say I would recommend it. Your trailer probably do just fine.

A 3 bottom pull type plow will fit on your trailer, no problem. You don"t have to remove the tongue. I once hauled a 3-14 IHC plow home from an auction in the box of my pickup.

You can leave the tongue on and it will fit. I hauled my 4 bottom no 16 on my 14 ft skidsteer trailer.

I haul a 2 bottom #8 little genius on a 5 x 8 single axle trailer with the tongue on but tied up to the adjustment handles. I would put it on the trailer backwards so the tail wheel doesn't cause problems getting it unloaded. Dave
