I can't be of to much help. just that the serial number on the plate most usually represents the number made, starting with 501 as the first number.

doing some searching on the web, the 434 was produced from 1966-1971, so I am guessing that yours would be a 1966 model if they made 500+ that year.

The number on the block most of the time should match the plate number. So I can't help you. the engine might have been replaced but I am no expert at all on this.

Just good at searching :)
Randy

Don't see 434 listed in the serial numbers section on the left side of this page. Serial Numbers

Are those numbers cast or stamped on?

Hi randy the B1169 is stamped on a I.H plate and the b144 11150 is stamped on a embossed flat the way you"d generally find on a motor block. As far as I know these models were only sold here in Canada,Austrailia and Doncaster England where they were produced.
