Brand new frame rails on my 38. Put the old drill press to a test. About 4 hours worth. Everything has lined up perfect so far. Laid the old rails on the new ones and sprayed paint through the holes. This gave a perfect template to drill on. Lots of heavy work though moving these things around. They are heavy.

I believe the F seris had the ID numbers welded on the outside rear of the frame rails. Did you weld these numbers back on the rails? Armand

They're stamped on the top of the left rail right behind the clutch. I have them stamped there and they look good.

I have 3 F 30s that the frames have been altered and the S. N. have disappeared. I was hoping you saved them. Armand

Scott, Looks like a good start to a nice tractor.
I have measured my F-20 NT round spoke 11.2 x 36 tire Rim hubs in 73" rim hubs out 82"
If you have steel what type? Is it wheatland spokes or off set row crop. On my regular NT I have off set steel with overlay band It is wider from lug nut to nut 71" than the wheel edge On stanard tread should be 12" wider. oldiron29

Scott, I think those rear look like wheatland
Are the hubs centered in rim or out to one side?
If they sit to one side there should be the same measurement I gave you. these rims are rolled steel with a lip on edge. My off sets are 5/8" thick steel band with no edge lip and every other spoke is doubled up. If I had a picture I would send it. oldiron29

Just wondering, but what was wrong with the old ones. I'm in the process of restoring a 37 and mine don't look too bad just alot of old paint. Greg NE

They were extremely corroded both inside and outside on the ends where the cultivator brackets attach. Good thing I took them off because several of the bolts had only about an 1/8" of material remaining in the centers and they all snapped in half.

Nice work. A narrow tread, too. I really like the narrows as i can haul them on my trailer.

How wide is your trailer? I am a bit worried about this one fitting on mine.
