1966 IHC Farmall 706 LP.

Not running.
No Fenders.
Hood is straight.
3 point, 540 and 1000 PTO, 1 remote
Engine problems when parked 7-10 years ago.

What would be a fair price?

Zack, Austin,Tx craigslist has a 706 LP listed for $3500! Looks to me to be at least $1000 over prices. I like the way you think! Even though you didn't say the tires are shot from sitting so long! Start @ $250 and work your way up if you have too. I my mind $750 is on the top side.
B&M Tractor Salvage @ Taylor,Tx,,,, drug up a old 706 LP the other day, real rough but pretty complete, it was still intact last Friday. Hope this helps!
Later,
John A.

I am in North Texas about three hours northwest of the metroplex.

I was figuring somewhere in the $300 area.

Were these tractors prone to any certain engine problems?

Zach, where are you at in TX?

A few weeks ago I saw a 706LP in the thrifty nickel, but I dont remember what they wanted. I think it was a make offer deal.

A running fully functional go to work tomorrow 706 Gas 2 remote 2 pto is worth about $2000. Based on possible work needed, that lp one is worth waaaaa aaaaa y less. Probably under $1000. But thats just my opinion.
