IH 3088 and 3288 differences?

I"ve never even seen one, but think one would be a nice tractor if you needed 80-90 hp. Other than the h.p. rating were there any mechanical differences? They both use the 358 engine. In the nebraska tests the 3288 was tested first. Were they both made at the same time?

For all intents and purposes, the differences between the two tractors amount to 5 minutes with a screwdriver and a couple of decals. They were made at the same time.
