Does anyone have any expereince using the disk plow that mounts under the belly of a Cub or an A? Is it supposed to work like the rear disk plows? I was told the rear ones are great for rough plowing where there are stumps and brush - is that true for the belly plow? How good do they work?

Thanks
Greg

The belly mount is great for gardens, etc. but in hard ground, roots, etc. it tends to shove you sideways.

I've got one on a cub and it does pretty good in my clay ground. I have 1 set of weights on the rear.

if you have stumps or large rocks it will stop you in your tracks.

I have never used one but the fellows from TEXAS who used them told me you need light soils for them to work well.Just remember you dont have a lot of HP or wt of the tractor so that tells me something.

Those work well in loose soils and dont need any brush or other stuff unless you want a wreck and tear stuff up/
