ok guys its carburator time

i could use a little direction guys i need a new carb or a good rebuild kit
what i have is a 1956 230 with a Marvel-Schebler number TSX-864. cant find any listings for this one YT showes a several listings for replacement carbs just not this number. has someone put the wrong one on this little c-123? and if thats the case whats this TSX-864 supposed to go on?

dunno BC kinda weird ive found ive found TSX862 AND tsx866 theres no dought about this number the tag is very clear might just give YT a holler
I keep carb dip here all the time Thanks BC

I don't know for sure. The IH carbs have a little round tag with the number pinned to the top side of the throttle throat body.

You can call and ask the guys at this yt website on what they recommend. You need to serial number of your tractor. The cutoff is above or below # 65000.

If you want to get a kit, then you just as well invest the $20 for a gallon size carb cleaner dip tank at your local auto parts store and start cleaning it to find a number. Then blow out all the passages with an air compressor.

The caseih site lists a choice of 2 carters, 3 zeniths, and 1 MS carb # TSK-744 depending upon the model 230 tractor serial number. Does that TSX-864 have a caseih number?

dont know BC its sure nuff gunked up right now the little tag also has the numbers 791 and looks to be hand stamped cause its stamped crooked
where would that other number be?
