Hi again , This question has me feeling a little foolish . I can't figure out how to remove the rear bearing from the M&W input shaft ( front upper shaft ) . I can't get a puller behind it . I can hardly get a small screwdriver behind it . The M&W nine speed shaft is factory assembled with two gears that are keyed to the shaft . Is it OK to press on the gears to try and push everything off at once ? The only other way I can see is to torch it off . That makes me a little nervous . Any other ideas ? Thanks ! ...Randy

Randy Could you post a picture of the input shaft and the bearing you are trying to remove?

I dont know about the M & W shaft but the original shafts had a hole drilled in from the front for a small punch to go in and tap it out. Hope yours does too. Roy R.
