I have been picking away at the little details after getting the Super C running again. Checking for antifreeze in the oil - none, cleaning the points in the voltage regulator - charging now, retorqueing the head, checking the hydraulic oil, so far so good.

The hydraulic stops need to be reset. Reading the I&T manual, it sounds pretty straight forward except that the starter switch/battery cable is directly in line with and about 1" away from the front bolt on the left hand side. Even if I cut down an allen wrench, it will be very tight.

Is there a better way to do this ?

Greg

Greg: Very likely you want the tractor running during this adjustment. Remove the starter, bolt the two wires together, put some electrical tape around them and crank start the tractor. Believe me a cut down allen wrench can get in contact with the starter terminals. Don't ask me how I know.

Hugh,

That's what I'm afraid of.

I suppose that I could weld up a crank...
