I recently broke one of the bolts for the hitch on my Farmall H. It is the little "eyebolt" type bolt that holds the hitch to the brackets that go around the rear axle.

Ordered the new one from Case IH. The "eyebolt" and nut that comes with it is $90! Ouch!

I did a little ebay search. Guy in SD is selling the whole assemblies for less than 90 dollars. Search for seller RedRoxRoad or store RedRoxRoad50.

I would do a little searching on ebay, and find multiple items for an H, which showed the seller was parting out an H. Contact him and have him list one. Can't believe someone on this board doesn't have one for really cheap. Mike CA haunts the graveyards and can probably put one in his pocket for next to nothing. Hope you saved your receipt :)

Wow, 50 + years and it is on a shelf somewhere and IH actually has it on record... That is impressive, hence the price tag. I bought some small parts to rebuild two hydraulic remote valves on my F504D and paid $70 for parts in bags that would fit in a t-shirt pocket...

Probably seems like a lot, but that is a unique little piece. Did they have it on the shelf? or was it made to order?
