does anyone have a pic of the wires on a super m from distributer to plugs or a diagram.yea I know should not have it or should have a manual but cannot seem to find a good one. or if any one knows of a good manual for a 52 super m I would appreciate that info too.

Jack: It's all right on the side of the engine block. Firing order 1 - 3 - 4 - 2. Standing behind the distributor cap, top right is number 1, bottom right is number 3, bottom left is number 4 and top left is number 2. Cylinder numbers start at front. You knew that?

Hugh you are right when good mechanics have maintained the treactor but here in sunny South Red Neck tuners may have timed tractor with number one cylinder wire at any location. Have to admit I have been guiltly of unauthorized timing a few times

Your wires on the cap should be in this firing order since your rotor turns CW. Hal

PS: If the distributor has ever been removed and not installed when No1 piston was at TDC on the compression stroke this may not be correct.
