should my farmall b serial number 125655 have the metal shift knob or the rubber. What was the cut off for the war tractors? thanks

There were only 75,000 plus B's produced, so either the serial number is incorrect, or maybe you have a Super B... just kidding. If your knob is missing, it's probably the rubber type, I may be wrong, but I think the steel ones were threaded. I believe the 44's and 45's were steel, I don't know if they went into 46 or not.

My '46 B has a steel shift knob. Looks to be a very original tractor other than the paint. Original harness, harness clips, magneto, etc..
