I want some information as to what the pump pedistal is attached to,I removed screen filter and there is what looks like slim so Iwant to clean as much out as I can then take the lift cover off and replace the filter There was some water mixed with the oil.Is this the best way to clean it ? Thanks Glen

the pump is mounted onthe bottom of the rear housing, not much to do to clean it other than taking the pipes off, if taking the entire bottom screen did not do it,,, when taking the top plate off becareful the hi pres. pipe fits into the top plate and has a metal ring on it keeping it from getting pushed back down into the main housing, sometimes they are broken and get bounced into the housing abiss,make sure to put an o ring in the top plate hole where th hi pres tube goes into it it helps with pressure
