I recently purchased a great 430 LG Diesel and it has the PTO, but no three point hook up for connecting implements. I am wanting a rake, box, and possibly a disc to go with it. I am having a hard time finding a three point hook up in what I am told is a 0 type. The local JD dealer told me I am looking at spending at a minimum of $500 and then at least $500 per implement. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go or what to do? Thanks

I also have a 430 L&G. I bought it new 18 years ago this past January and it has been a great tractor and still is. It's never been in the shop and the only thing I have done to it is change the fluids and service. Mine has the rear PTO and 3 point which I use with a quick hitch. I use a material collection system on the back to vacuum grass clippings and leaves. I have seen a 3 point for these on ebay from time to time so you might want to look around over there. I have seen Cat 0 implements around but I can't imagine the ones you mentioned costing $500 each. You might want to ask around over on the L & G board for the Cat 0 sources.

I have a JD 430 L&G with 3 pt. I think the 3 pt
from a 420 or 318 would also fit the 430. Maybe
try the garden tractor forum to find a used one.
I really like my 430. Runs great and the best starting engine I have ever owned.
