I am going to look at a '71 MF 50 Hp diesel tractor with a loader and backhoe tomorrow. Does anyone know the weight of this machine? The owner is not certain of the model number(s), but I would like to know if there is any chance this machine weighs less than 7500-8000 lbs (I want trailer it with my F250)? If this helps, the owner says the backhoe is NOT the 3 pt style, and 4 pins allow the hoe to be moved left or right for digging close to buildings. An approximate fair price for WNY would be helpful.
Thanks, in advance for all your help.
Mike

The workshop manual for the MF-50B with loader and fixed backhoe states the weight at approximately 14 tons.

I own a mf -50 backhoe loader. We used to pull with a ford f-700 7 yard dump truck. We have a 10 ton and a 20 ton trailer. I think the machine weights about 6 to 7 ton.

Owner says "MF-30" was added to the re-paint job before he bought it. Shuttle shift, cab-no glass, yellow.
Thanks,
Mike M.

The MF50 industrial with a backhoe will weight about 10,000 LB. The MF30 industrial with a backhoe will not be quite as heavy but will be close to 8,000 LB. or maybe a little over. If you have any questions about them Email me
